January 9 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipbuilding company Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN] rose the most among the blue-chip gainers on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) on Wednesday, as the main indices closed higher, bourse data showed.
Shares of Viktor Lenac closed 15.47% higher at 5.45 kuna.
Power transmission equipment manufacturer Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV] paced the blue-chip decliners, closing 2.93% lower at 7.94 kuna.
Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS2] generated the highest turnover of 330,489 kuna among the blue chips.
ZSE's total trading turnover declined to 2.8 million kuna ($434,397/376,999 euro) on Wednesday from 4.6 million kuna on Tuesday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index rose by 0.50% to 1,741.36 points after adding 0.34% on Tuesday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, went up 0.56% to 1,010.34 after rising by 0.55% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index closed unchanged at 110.9644 points.
