SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), May 22 (SeeNews) – Vienna Insurance Group (VIG) said on Wednesday its profit before taxes from operations in Bosnia decreased by 21.1% year-on-year to 91,721 euro ($102,396) in the first quarter of 2019.
VIG's total gross written premiums in Bosnia grew to 7.7 million euro in January-March from 4.6 million euro in the same period of 2018, VIG said in an unaudited interim financial report.
Gross motor third party liability premiums decreased 31.7% to 614,542 euro in the review period, while other property premiums dropped by 19.1% to 2.4 million euro.
Gross premiums on the Casco segment rose 3.8% on the year to 312,418 euro.
