December 7 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's economy expanded by 3.1% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2018, after growing by 3.4% in the previous quarter, preliminary data from the National Statistical Institute (NSI) showed on Friday.
On a quarterly comparison basis, Bulgaria's GDP growth slowed to 0.7% in the third quarter of 2018, from 0.8% in the second quarter, according to the NSI data.
Calculated in current prices, Bulgaria's GDP totalled 29.8 billion levs ($17.3 billion/15.2 billion euro) in the third quarter of the year.
