March 4 (SeeNews) - Sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Turkey surged 89.5% year-on-year in February, the Automotive Distributors' Association, ODD, said, as quoted by local media.
Total sold cars numbered 47,000 in February, Anadolu Agency reported on Tuesday, quoting an ODD report.
Sales of passenger automobiles reached 37,750 in February, 96% more than the number sold in the same month of 2019.
Some 9,400 light commercial vehicles were sold in the month under review, an increase of 65.7% on the year.
