June 3 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian state-owned thermal power plant (TPP) Maritsa Iztok 2 has carried out the planned maintenance of its Unit 4, the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX) said on Monday.
During the maintenance, the 177 MW unit was left with 77 MW of available capacity, IBEX said in a notice.
Works began at 22:00 local time on May 31 and were completed at 23:45 local time on June 2.
TPP Maritsa Iztok 2 has eight operating units with a total installed capacity of 1,620 MW.
