January 30 (SeeNews) - US electric vehicles manufacturer Tesla is planning to open a charging station in Bulgaria's Plovdiv, its first in the county, in 2020, data from its website shows.
"Exact timing and specific location may vary," Tesla said in a notice on its website.
The construction of the charging station has already been completed, business news outlet Investor.bg reported on Thursday. The charging station is located in front of Imperial hotel in Plovidv, according to the report.
According to Investor.bg, Tesla is awaiting the completion of two charging stations in Serbia - in Belgrade and Nis, so it can unveil all three simultaneously.
In Southeast Europe, Tesla currently operates charging stations in Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. Elsewhere in the region, Tesla also intends to launch charging stations in Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and North Macedonia.
