March 16 (SeeNews) - US electric vehicle and clean energy company Tesla has opened its first two supercharger stations in Serbia, data from the company's website showed on Monday.
The stations are located in the parking lot of an Ikea store in Belgrade and on the E75 motorway near Aleksinac in southern Serbia, the interactive map of Tesla chargers on the company's website shows.
The Belgrade station is equipped with six superchargers, while the Aleksinac station has four, each with a capacity of up to 150 kW, according to the map.
Last week, Serbian news agency B92 quoted sources from the US company as saying that Tesla has chosen to install the superchargers at locations near the E75 motorway, as they are primarily intended for drivers of Tesla cars transiting Serbia.
