December 2 (SeeNews) - Telemach Croatia, owned by Dutch-based multi-play telecommunications and media provider United Group, said it has acquired local satellite television platform Total TV, aiming to provide national coverage of its services.
“Thanks to the national coverage that Total TV provides via satellite, Telemach gets accessible from every part of the country, without any geographical limitations,” Telemach Croatia said in a press release on Wednesday. It did not disclose the value of the deal.

Following the recent acquisition of fixed-line telecom Optima Telekom, thanks to the acquisition of Total TV, Telemach enriches the portfolio of services that it offers, along with providing accessibility from areas where these services have been inaccessible so far.
According to data from the court registry, Dutch-registered Total TV has been the sole owner of Croatian company Totalna Televizija, which runs under the brand name Total TV, and Telemach Croatia has acquired 100% interest in it. Following the transaction, Total TV will operate under the Telemach brand.
