February 7 (SeeNews) - Kosovo’s state-owned telecoms operator Telekomi i Kosoves has earmarked 38 million euro ($40.1 million) for infrastructural upgrades in the next four years, CEO Burbuqe Hana told local media on Wednesday.
Telekomi i Kosoves plans to invest 13 million euro in 2024, Hana said in an interview with local news platform Telegrafi, as seen in a Youtube video.
Some 20 million euro has been provided to Telekomi i Kosoves by the government as a capacity investment loan.
Last month, the company signed a 15-million-euro multi-year agreement with Croatian telecoms equipment manufacturer Ericsson Nikola Tesla for comprehensive infrastructural upgrades.
