December 14 (SeeNews) - Serbia's state owned Telekom Srbija said it has established a subsidiary in Turkey, MTEL Turkey, to offer TV services to the Serbian diaspora in the country.
There are over 10 million Serbian language speakers in Turkey, making it a logical choice for Telekom Srbija’s expansion plan, after it started offering TV services in Austria, Switzerland and Germany, the company said on Wednesday
Telekom Srbija, whose users exceeded 11 million in 2022, has operations in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Montenegro.
The company recorded a profit of 13.4 billion dinars ($124.7 million/114.4 million euro) in 2022.
