September 2 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's biggest telecommunications operator - state-controlled Telekom Slovenije's [LJE:TLSG] supervisory board has approved the termination of the term of management board president Cvetko Srsen, the company said.
The termination of Srsen's mandate will become effective on the day a new board members are appointed, or by October 31 at the latest, Telekom Slovenije said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Thursday.
Telekom Slovenije's supervisory board will also terminate the mandate of management board member Barbara Drakslar by October 31, while another board member, Tomaz Jontes was dismissed immediately, the company noted.
Mitja Stular will head the commercial affairs of Telekom Slovenije until a successor of Jontes is appointed, the telecommunications operator noted.
Telekom Slovenije's share price closed unchanged at 54.0 euro on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Thursday.
