January 8 (SeeNews) - Telekom Serbia has acquired two local cable operators - Radius Vector and AVcom, for an undisclosed price, according to Serbian media reports.
The company is in talks with a further five cable operators and expects to complete their acquisition in the first quarter of 2019, TV channel N1 quoted Telekom Serbia group coordinator for Internet and multimedia, Vladimir Lucic, as saying in an interview for Serbian media.

The acquisitions are part of Telekom Serbia's Million Plus development strategy, according to which the company should reach more than a million users of television and Internet services.
Following the latest acquisitions, the Serbian telco has expanded its reach to 120,000 Radius Vector's Internet and television users and 18,000 AVcom users.
With the purchase of cable operators, in five months Telekom has increased the number of its TV users in Serbia by more than 50% and currently has more than 700,000, Lucic said.
