July 4 (SeeNews) - Swedish wiring harnesses manufacturer Rimaster plans to open a factory in Paracin, in central Serbia, the CEO of the company, Tomas Staalnert, said.
The company will start producing next year in Paracin electric systems for a special vehicle used in the heavy industry, Staalnert said in a video file posted on the YouTube channel of Paracin city government on Tuesday.

The company will hire 50 employees during the first phase of the development of the factory, and up to 350 during the second phase, the Paracin city government said on Tuesday in a separate statement.
Rimaster considers expanding the production facility further in the future, until its workforce reaches between 700 and 1,000 employees, the Paracin city government also said.
"It is not possible to announce the exact amount of the investment in the first phase, but the value of the production unit to be developed in the second phase is about 2 million euro ($2.3 million), excluding the acquisition of equipment," Staalnert said in the video file.
Rimaster operates in Sweden, Poland, France, Germany, Belgium and China, generating an annual production of about 80 million euro.
