January 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian Stock Exchange indices opened Thursday's trading session in red territory, mostly hurt by diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOV] and its largest shareholder - drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR].
As at 8:30 CET on Thursday, Doverie United Holding shares traded 1.71% lower at 5.75 levs ($3.26/2.94 euro), while Sopharma shares were 0.28% down at 3.53 levs. Sopharma is the biggest member of the blue-chip SOFIX index by market capitalisation.
The SOFIX has lost 0.11% to 584.26 points by that hour.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, was 0.12% down at 114.50 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, was 0.11% lower at 526.10 points. Doverie United Holding and Sopharma led decliners among members of both indices.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, traded unchanged, after closing at an all-time high of 135.10 points on Wednesday.
Total trading turnover on the regulated market amounted to some 19,000 levs.
