March 6 (SeeNews) - Three of the five indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended higher on Wednesday, with the blue-chip SOFIX adding 0.80% to 800.72 points, bourse data showed.
A 3.10% leap in pharmaceuticals maker Sopharma [BUL:SFA] to 6.66 levs and a 2.28% increase in diversified group Holding Varna [BUL:HVAR] to 44.80 levs propped up the benchmark index.

The two companies also spurred on the broader BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse. The index advanced by 0.44% to 164.11 points.
The BEAMX index, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, marked the biggest gain of the day, jumping 1.09% to 98.80 points. It was mostly boosted by electric vehicle manufacturer Sin Cars Industry [BUL:SIN], which surged 10.87% to 0.51 levs.
Meanwhile, the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, edged down 0.05% to 811.44 points. The index was brought down by a 4.61% drop in Super Borovets Property Fund REIT [BUL:SBPF] to 2.90 levs and a 2.77% tumble in diversified group Chimimport [BUL:CHIM] to 0.702 levs.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, shed 0.61% to 189.89 points, following the decline at Super Borovets Property Fund.
Total turnover on the main market of the BSE climbed to 1.14 million levs ($632,360/582,871 euro) on Wednesday from 801,965 levs on Tuesday.
Energy and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG] was the day's top stock by turnover, which came in at 294,691 levs after 232,040 shares changed hands. The company closed 1.55% lower at 1.27 levs.
