October 4 (SeeNews) - All main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) reversed the previous day's losses on Tuesday, with the blue-chip SOFIX climbing by 2.21% to 583.54 points.
The rise in the SOFIX was supported by a 8.07% jump in IoT products maker Allterco [BUL:A4L] to 17.40 levs and a 7.93% advance in Doverie Obedinen Holding [BUL:DUH] to 7.08 levs, with 5,645 shares traded.
The gain in Allterco, together with a 8.30% increase in Agria Group Holding [BUL:AGH] to 24.80 levs drove higher the BGBX40 index, which tracks the bourse's 40 most traded shares, and the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight.
The BGBX40 index moved ahead by 1.34% points to 134.90 points while the BGTR30 appreciated by 1.35% to 704.66 points.
In the losing section, BGBX40 constituent Sofia Commerce Pawn Brokerage [BUL:SCOM] dropped 2.84% to 2.74 levs. Sopharma Trading [BUL:SFT], a member of the BGTR30, erased 1.48% to 5.32 levs.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, went up 1.17% to 178.12 points. The increase was due to Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] ticking up by 3.27% to 2.84 levs in a trading volume of 13,522. Index member Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] also rose, by 2.97% to 2.08 levs with 14,754 shares traded.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market slumped to 620,303 levs ($315,302/317,155 euro) on Tuesday from a strong 8.82 million levs on Monday.
Poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6] was the most traded stock on the day, generating 213,598 levs in turnover. Gradus closed 3.91% higher at 1.33 levs, with as many as 160,600 shares traded.
