March 26 (SeeNews) - Three of the five indices of the Sofia bourse grew on Tuesday, whereas the blue-chip SOFIX lost 0.13% to 804.48 points on the back of declines in the Bulgarian Stock Exchange [BUL:BSE], operator of the bourse, and First Investment Bank, or Fibank, [BUL:FIB], bourse data showed.
The BSE shed 3.53% to 15.05 levs, while Fibank went down 1.60% to 2.46 levs.
The two companies also constrained the broader BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse. The index ended the trading session 0.06% lower at 164.20 points.
In contrast, the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, climbed by 0.09% to 808.78 points. It was driven up by Zlaten Lev Holding [BUL:HLEV], which leapt 5.88% to 3.60 levs, and software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SGH], which rose 1.39% to 0.73 levs.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, added 0.14% to 191.84 points, following a 0.90% increase in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 3.36 levs.
Finally, the BEAMX, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, advanced by 0.14% to 98.01 points. The top performer in the index was organic foods producer and distributor Smart Organic [BUL:SO], which gained 2.91% to 21.20 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the Sofia bourse slid to 1.74 million levs ($963,936/889,645 euro) on Tuesday from 6.36 million levs on Monday.
Diversified group Chernomorski Holding [BUL:CHL] generated the day's highest turnover, at some 8.23 million levs, as 329,048 shares traded. The stock closed 10.62% higher at 25.00 levs.
