October 18 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index closed a second consecutive trading session in green, adding 0.21% to 564.83 points on Friday.
One of the SOFIX's smallest members - software group Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK], led gainers on Friday, booking a 2.92% rise to a closing price of 0.705 levs.
Lenders First Investment Bank [BUL:5F4] and Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] were also among the top gainers, advancing 1.96% and 0.99%, respectively.
The largest SOFIX member by market capitalisation - drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR], backed the index with a 1.19% rise on Friday.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, increased 0.18% to 111.14 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, grew by 0.38% to 502.32 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, edged down 0.05% to 127.84 points.
Total regulated market trading turnover rose to 184,000 levs on Friday from 119,000 levs on Thursday.
