July 5 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, gained 0.18% to 126.83 points on Friday, beating the record high 126.60 points it set on Thursday.
The BGREIT was backed by a 1.90% rise in the share price of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:5BU], which offset a 1.05% decrease in the share price of its largest member by market capitalisation - Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:6A6].
Total regulated market trading turnover shrank to just 55,000 levs ($32,000/28,000 euro) on Friday.
All other stock indices on the BSE closed the trading session lower.
The blue-chip SOFIX index dropped 0.27% to 580.70 points, as diversified group Holding Varna [BUL:5V2] led decliners among its members.
The BGBX40 and BGTR30 indices were both hit by a 3.72% fall in the share price of resort operator Albena [BUL:6AB].
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the stock exchange in Sofia, declined 0.34% to 115.46 points, while the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, slid 0.28% to 511.25 points.
