November 30 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange's SOFIX index held on to a 0.06% advance at the end of Friday's trading session, thanks to a 4.44% rise in Holding Varna's share price.
The SOFIX ended 0.38 points higher at 592.12 points, extending its winning streak to three sessions. Overall, the index lost 0.79% in November.
The other blue chip gainers on Friday were diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR], with a 0.75% rise, and the newest members of the index - Elana Agrocredit [BUL:0EA] and M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH], which posted rises of 0.87% and 0.65%, respectively.

The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, ended the session 0.01% lower at 115.12 points, mainly due to a 5.45% drop in the share price of printing and advertising firm Billboard [BUL:5BP], which erased part of its gains this week.
However, Billboard shares still gained 2.63% overall this week, after it reported a rise in its nine-month consolidated net profit and revenue on Wednesday.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell 0.15% to 489.60 points, as the Bulgarian Stock Exchange [BUL:BSO] operator fell most among its components. Bulgarian Stock Exchange shares ended 3.51% lower at 5.5 levs.
The BGREIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts (REITs), gained 0.49% to 117.46 points, solely due to a 10.31% increase in the share price of Bulland Investments REIT [BUL:5BD].
The rise in Bulland Investments' share price was partially offset by a 0.25% decrease in the share price of Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:6A6] - the biggest constituent of the index in terms of market capitalisation.
Total trading turnover fell to 277,000 levs ($160,000/142,000 euro) on Friday from 345,000 levs on Thursday.
