LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), January 16 (SeeNews) – Slovenian insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] rose the most among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
Zavarovalnica Triglav's shares gained 6.13% to 32.9 euro as 8,044 units changed hands.
The biggest loser among the blue chips was drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG], whose shares ended 0.69 % lower at 57.6 euro. Krka also generated the largest trading turnover on the LJSE on Wednesday, of 514,620 euro.
Total trading turnover on the LJSE rose to 1.59 million euro ($1.8 million) on Wednesday, from 556,270 euro on Tuesday.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, added 1.50% to 830.65 points on Wednesday.
