LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), December 5 (SeeNews) – Slovenia’s state-owned SID Banka said on Wednesday it has placed a 75 million euro ($85.3 million) five-year green bond in the international capital markets
The bond, with a fixed annual coupon of 0.50% and a yield of 0.532%, is backed by guarantees from the Slovenian government, the lender said in a filing to the Ljubljana bourse.
The proceeds of the green bond will be used to finance and/or refinance loans granted for projects in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency, pollution prevention and control, clean transportation, green buildings and sustainable water and wastewater management.
The bond will mature on December 12, 2023.
The lead manager on the debt placement was UniCredit Bank.
