September 8 (SeeNews) - Slovenian poultry producer Perutnina Ptuj, owned by Ukraine's Mironivsky Hliboproduct (MHP), recorded earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of 49 million euro ($49.1 million) in 2021, up by 1 million euro on an annual comparison basis, it said.
The sales revenue of Perutnina Ptuj grew 16% to 342 million euro in 2021, backed by a positive performance in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Austria, whereas EBITDA margin came in at 14%, down by 2 percentage points year-on-year, the poultry producer said in a statement on Wednesday.
Perutnina Ptuj produced and sold about 113,000 tonnes of meat and products in 2021, up 11%, and made investments worth 26 million euro, the company said.
The financial performance of Perutnina Ptuj in 2021 was significantly affected by the increase in the price of energy products and strategic raw materials, auxiliary materials and services, it added.
MHP completed the acquisition of Slovenian group RR, which includes Perutnina Ptuj, in 2018.
