LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), June 19 (SeeNews) – Shares of Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJE:NLBR] rose on Wednesday after Slovenia’s sovereign holding company said it has successfully concluded the privatisation of NLB by completing the placement to institutional investors.
NLB closed 1.72% higher at 59.2 euro, the second best gainer among the blue chips on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) for the day, bourse data showed.
“SDH successfully completed the accelerated bookbuild process of an aggregate of shares and global depositary receipts (GDR) representing 1,999,999 NLB shares, at a price of 54.75 euro per share and 10.95 euro per GDR,” SDH said in a statement earlier on Wednesday.
Logistics group Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] posted the biggest gains among the blue chips on the LJSE. Intereuropa's shares closed 2.34% higher at 2.62 euro.
There were no losers among the blue chips on the Ljubljana bourse on Wednesday.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed at 883.36 points, up 1.08%.
Pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the largest part, of 406,270 euro, of Wednesday's total trading turnover.
The bourse's total daily turnover rose to 2.29 million euro from 1.48 million euro on Tuesday.
