April 18 (SeeNews) - Slovenian lender Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) [LJE:NLBR] has received regulatory approval for the early redemption of 300 million euro ($321 million) notes issued on July 19, 2022, the bank said.
The European Union's Single Resolution Board gave the go-ahead for the early redemption of the notes one year or less before their maturity on July 19, 2025, NLB said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
Earlier this month, NLB said it also plans to repay early 45 million euro worth of ten-year subordinated bonds on May 6. The bonds were issued on May 6, 2019 and will mature on May 6, 2029.
The bank recorded a consolidated after-tax profit of 550.7 million euro in 2023, up from 446.9 million euro in the previous year.
