May 27 (SeeNews) - Slovenian port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] said its operating profit has decreased 1% year on year to 17.1 million euro ($19.2 million) in the first quarter of 2019.
Luka Koper's consolidated net sales revenue rose to 60.7 million euro in January-March, from 56.3 million euro a year earlier, the company said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange late on Friday.
Consolidated EBITDA fell 1% to 24.4 million euro.
The company's total maritime throughput fell by an annual 3% to 6 million tonnes in the review period.
In January-March, Luka Koper Group allocated 12 million euro to investments, which is 9.7 million euro ahead on the first quarter in 2018
At the end of March 2019, Luka Koper employed 1,558 people, up 41% on the year.
