LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), October 10 (SeeNews) – Slovenian port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] said its maritime throughput totalled 17.7 million tons in the first nine months of 2019, up by 78,000 tons compared with the same period in 2018.
Container throughput fell to 734.487 TEUs in January-September from 741.674 TEUs last year, Luka Koper said in a bourse filing late on Wednesday.
During the January – September period, the throughput of cars fell to 503.653 units, from 569.646 units in the same period in 2018.
Net revenue from sales went up 3% to 170 million euro ($186.5 million), according to incomplete and non-audited data published by the port operator.
