August 29 (SeeNews) - Financial group KD Group [LJE:KDHR] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Thursday, bourse data showed.
KD Group said on Wednesday that it will reduce its share capital by 7.66% to 82.5 million euro ($91.4 million) via the cancellation of 204,978 shares. Following the share cancellation, the company's reduced capital will be distributed into some 2.47 million KDHR shares.
KD Group's shares closed at 84.0 euro on Thursday, up 5.00%.
Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] fell the most among the Slovenian blue-chip companies on Thursday, after being the only gainer in the previous session.
Zavarovalnica Triglav’s shares closed 1.28% lower at 30.9 euro. On Wednesday, the company's shares closed 3.99% higher.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed at 852.20 points, up 0.01%.
LJSE's total trading turnover fell to 593,960 euro ($658,368) on Thursday from 1.62 million euro on Wednesday. Pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] contributed the largest portion of turnover – 422,140 euro.
