LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), March 13 (SeeNews) – Slovenia’s financial group KD [LJE:KDHR] posted the biggest gains among the blue chips on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Wednesday, recovering losses suffered in the previous session, bourse data showed.
KD Group gained 5.26% to 80.0 euro as 5,514 shares changed hands. On Tuesday, the stock ended 5.00% lower at 76.0 euro.
The financial group recorded also the largest trading turnover on the LJSE on Wednesday, of 476,830 euro.
Total trading turnover on the Ljubljana bourse rose to 1.48 million euro ($1.7 million) from 618,410 euro on Tuesday.
Pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] was the biggest loser among the blue chips on the LJSE on Wednesday, erasing the gains recorded in the previous trading session. The company’s shares shed 1.02% to 58.0 euro. On Tuesday, Krka gained 0.69% to 58.6 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed 0.25% higher at 872.36 points on Wednesday.
