June 27 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Slovenia dropped by an annual 15.5% to 4,579 in the first five months of this year, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, said.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes fell by 22.2% on the year to 3,528 vehicles in the January-May period, ACEA said in a statement on Friday, citing provisional data.
Registrations of new medium and heavy commercial vehicles of over 3.5 tonnes rose 21% on the year to 1,091 in the period under review.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell by 19.8% year-on-year to 673,095 in the first five months of this year.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 11.1% lower at 95,533.
