July 28 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Slovenia dropped by an annual 15.4% to 5,355 in the first half of this year, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, said.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes fell by 22.2% on the year to 4,090 vehicles in the January-June period, ACEA said in a statement on Wednesday, citing provisional data.
Registrations of new medium and heavy commercial vehicles of over 3.5 tonnes rose 18% on the year to 1,215 in the period under review.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell by 20.3% year-on-year to 817,090 in the first six months of this year.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 11% lower at 116,981.
