October 16 (SeeNews) - Slovenian chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] said it has repurchased 166 of its own shares for a total of 30,000 euro ($33,000).
Thus, Cinkarna Celje has increased its holding of own shares to 1.2066% of the issued share capital from 1.186%, the company said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange earlier this week.
The 166 shares were acquired on October 7, with Cinkarna Celje paying 181 euro per share.
As of October 14, following the transaction, Cinkarna Celje held 9,749 own shares.
The decision for the share buyback was approved by the general shareholders' meeting of Cinkarna Celje on June 4.
The company's shares closed flat at 188 euro on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
