LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), October 18 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in Slovenia in September rose 30% month-on-month to 599, the office of national statistics said on Friday.
A total of 251 permits were issued for residential projects in September, up 51% compared to August, while 348 permits were issued for non-residential buildings, up 18%, the statistical office said in a statement.
The floor area of the buildings for which permits were issued in September totalled 133,174 sq m, up 6% compared to August.
The construction of 299 dwellings was planned in the permits issued in September, up 11%.
