LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 20 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in Slovenia in August fell 16% month-on-month to 462, the office of national statistics said on Friday.
A total of 166 permits were issued for residential projects in August, down 22% compared to July, while 296 permits were issued for non-residential buildings, down 12%, the statistical office said in a statement.
The floor area of the buildings for which permits were issued in August totalled 125,164 sq m, down 2.5% compared to July.
The construction of 265 dwellings was planned in the permits issued in August, down 6%.
