LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), April 22 (SeeNews) – The benchmark index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, the SBITOP, fell further on Wednesday amid lower total daily turnover, bourse data indicated.
The SBITOP, which tracks the most liquid and highly capitalised stocks on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, LJSE, declined 0.13% to 816.53 points after losing 0.47% on Tuesday.
Three of the seven blue chips of the LJSE closed lower, as many rose while drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] ended flat at 68 euro ($72.6) on Wednesday. Krka was the most traded blue-chip company with 13,335 shares changing hands.
Reinsurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] led the blue-chip decliners, closing down 4.04% at 15.69 euro.
Home appliances maker Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] led the blue-chip gainers, closing up 3.14% at 6.2 euro.
Total daily turnover on the LJSE decreased to 2.5 million euro from 2.9 million euro on Tuesday.
