March 18 (SeeNews) - Slovenia’s seaports handled 1.463 million tonnes of cargo in January, down 18.1% on the year, data from the country's statistical office showed.
The Slovenian seaports serviced a total of 275 vessels in January, up 17.5%, according to data posted on the website of the statistical office.
Koper, with an annual capacity of 18 million tonnes, is the major seaport in Slovenia. Izola and Piran are smaller ports in the country.
