May 22 (SeeNews) - Slovenia had the lowest annual inflation rate among all EU member states in April, posting a deflation of 1.3%, the bloc's statistical office said.
Greece and Croatia also reported a deflation in the month of April, of 0.9% and 0.1%, respectively, Eurostat said in a statement earlier this week.
Elsewhere in Southeast Europe (SEE), Bulgaria reported an inflation rate of 1.3% in April.
Among EU members from SEE, Romania had the highest inflation rate, of 2.3%, which is the fourth-highest among the EU-27 group, Eurostat data showed.
The annual inflation rate in the EU was 0.7% in April.
