September 2 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 5,739.29 points on Friday, down 1.4% from its closing value of 5,822.68 points on August 26, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) increased to 81.5 million denars ($1.321 million/1.320 million euro) in five sessions this week, from 64.4 million denars ($1.044 million/1.041 million euro) in five sessions last week, MSE data showed.
Lender Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] contributed the largest single portion of trading turnover on the MSE this week with 55.7 million denars as 4,919 of the bank's shares changed hands in a total of 244 transactions.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 125.25 points, slightly up from last week's 124.90 points.
