BELGRADE (Serbia), May 22 (SeeNews) - Serbia's Konstantin Veliki airport in Nis has resumed the operation of commercial flights after a two-month suspension caused by the coronavirus crisis, it said in its Facebook profile on Friday.

The first flight after the break was on the Nis-Dortmund route, operated by low-cost carrier Wizz Air.

The Serbian government closed on March 19 the airports in Belgrade and Nis in order to tackle the coronavirus outbreak. The Nikola Tesla airport in Belgrade was reopened for commercial flights on May 18.
