March 29 (SeeNews) - Serbia's trade deficit decreased 15% on the year to $1.33 billion (1.23 billion euro) in the first two months of 2024, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
The country's exports grew by 4.3% to $5.065 billion in the January-February period, while imports fell by 0.3% to $6.395 billion, the statistical office said in a statement.
The export-import ratio rose to 79.2% in the first two months of 2024 from 75.7% in the first two months of 2023.
In 2023, Serbia's trade gap narrowed by 26% to $8.903 billion.
