January 25 (SeeNews) - Serbia's information and communication technology (ICT) sector exports rose by 27.5% on the year to more than 1 billion euro ($1.1 billion) in the first eleven months of 2018, prime minister Ana Brnabic said.
The sector generates the bulk of Serbia's surplus in the services segment of its foreign trade balance, Brnabic said on Thursday, as quoted in a statement by the Serbian government.
The exports of Serbia's IT sector amounted to 900 million euro last year, exceeding the export revenue from traditional sectors such as agriculture and wood processing, Brnabic said in March.
