October 3 (SeeNews) - Serbian company Food Star signed an agreement to start export of poultry meat to China, the city government of Jagodina, where Food Star is based, said.
Food Star signed a deal with Chinese company Golden Sea Pearl for the export of 50 tonnes of poultry meat daily, the Jagodina city government said on Tuesday.

The Chinese company plans to expand its cooperation with Food Star and to acquire its entire output in the future, the city government said. An agreement for the export of poultry meat will also be signed with another Jagodina-based company, Agroziv, it added.
Following the signing of the contract with Golden Sea Pearl, Food Star plans to double its daily production to 50,000 chicken, the owner of the Serbian company, Dragoslav Milisavljevic, noted.
Last week, Serbia resumed exports of beef to China after a 30-year break.
