December 7 (SeeNews) - A tie-up led by Serbian blue-chip civil engineering company Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] has signed a 4.4 million euro ($5 million) contract for the rehabilitation of two concrete water channels in Peru, Energoprojekt said.
The Serbian company will participate in the project via its subsidiary Energoprojekt Niskogradnja [BEL:EPNS] in consortium with Peruvian partner Viviana, it said in a filing to the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday.
The works for which Energoprojekt will be responsible have an estimated value of 3.1 million euro.
The consortium signed the contract with the local government of the Peruvian province of Sullana on October 16. Construction works must be completed within 300 days.
The Via Cieneguilla and Cola de Alacran concrete water channels are located in Peru's coastal region of Piura.
