December 6 (SeeNews) - A tie-up comprising Serbian blue-chip civil engineering company [BEL:ENHL] has signed a 8.9 million euro ($10.1 million) contract for the construction of an irrigation system in Peru, Energoprojekt said on Thursday.
The Serbian company will participate in the project in consortium with Peruvian partner CCEQO, with the works for which Energoprojekt will be responsible having an estimated value of 6.3 million euro, it said in a filing to the Belgrade Stock Exchange.

The consortium signed the contract with the Peruvian agriculture ministry on November 29. Construction works must be completed within 360 days.
The San Antonio-Huarango-Jaen irrigation system will be built in Peru's Cajamarca region.
