BELGRADE (Serbia), January 24 (SeeNews) – Serbian diversified group Delta Holding plans to launch the construction of a hotel under the Holiday Inn brand in Slovenia's capital Ljubljana in the third quarter of 2020, the company said.
Alongside the start of construction of the hotel in Ljubljana, the opening of Indigo Hotel in Serbian capital Belgrade is also planned for the third quarter of the year, Delta Holding said in a statement on Thursday.
The group said last year it purchased a site for the construction of the hotel in Ljubljana and plans to start construction works after the completion of the needed legal procedures.
The conglomerate plans to invest about 400 million euro ($442 million) in real estate in the next few years and ensure the construction of 370,000 square metres of hotels and office space, it said on Thursday.
Delta Holding expects its revenue to rise 13.5% to 68.5 billion dinars ($644 million/583 million euro) this year, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) are estimated to grow 40% to 7.36 billion dinars.
Last year, Delta Holding recorded a turnover of 60.45 billion dinars, a 4% increase on the previous year. EBITDA was worth 5.23 billion dinars, a rise of 9%.
