March 22 (SeeNews) - Serbian diversified conglomerate Delta Holding officially opened on Thursday a 70 million euro ($79.1 million) shopping mall, Delta Planet, in Banja Luka in Bosnia, the holding company said.
Delta Planet covers an area of 62,500 sq m, introducing more than 40 brands to the Bosnian market with over 100 shops, the company said in a press release, adding that the shopping mall is the biggest in Bosnia.
The investment was made by Delta Real Estate, a company operating within Delta Holding.
In 2018, Delta Holding posted earnings before interest, taxes, amortisation and depreciation (EBITDA) of 4.8 billion dinars ($46.3 million/40.5 million euro) on 58.27 billion dinars revenue, it said earlier this year.
The company employs 4,546 workers.
Banja Luka is the second largest city in Bosnia and the de facto capital of the Serb Republic - one of the two autonomous entities forming Bosnia. The other one is the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
