BELGRADE (Serbia), October 11 (SeeNews) – Serbia's average consumer prices rose by 1.1% year-on-year in September, after growing by 1.3% in August, official statistics show.
On a monthly comparison basis, Serbia's consumer price index (CPI) fell by 0.5% in September, after remaining unchanged in August, according to figures published on the website of the national statistical office.
Restaurant and hotel prices grew by 1.2% month-on-month in September, while communications costs rose 0.5%.
Prices of recreation and culture fell by 5.7%, while the cost of food and non-alcoholic beverages declined by 0.5% in September.
Serbia's average annual consumer price inflation slowed to 2.0% last year from 3.0% in 2017.
