March 7 (SeeNews) - Serbia’s AIK Banka said it has acquired local NDM Leasing, renaming it AIK Leasing, for an undisclosed amount.
This acquisition reflects AIK Banka's ongoing efforts to broaden its operations and consolidate its position in the domestic banking sector. Through this deal, the bank aims to provide both existing and new clients with enhanced financing alternatives, featuring more favourable terms and flexible repayment options, AIK Banka said on Wednesday.

"We are glad that we are now able to offer all clients a leasing service that will be able to be used by both small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as corporations, entrepreneurs, and individuals. Our goal is for AIK Leasing to provide process simplicity, speed of decision-making, automation, innovative offer and flexibility," said Jozef Nadj, CEO of AIK Leasing.
NDM Leasing has been operating in Serbia since 2002.
Last March, AIK Banka acquired the entire capital of Eurobank Direktna, the local subsidiary of Greece's Eurobank, for 280 million euro ($305.2 million).
