August 18 (SeeNews) - Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO], the former operator of the international airport in Serbia's capital Belgrade, recorded a net profit of 57.71 million dinars ($500,000/491,600 euro) in the first six months of 2022, as compared to a loss of 32.1 million dinars in the like period of last year, it said.
Revenue rose by 10.9% on an annual comparison basis to 348.9 million dinars in the period under review, while operating expenses declined to 428.1 million dinars from 453.5 million dinars, Aerodrom Nikola Tesla said in a filing to the Belgrade Stock Exchange earlier this week.
The company's earnings per share equal 1,650 dinars, up from a loss of 920 dinars per share in the first half of 2021, the filing read.
In March 2018, France's Vinci Airports signed a 25-year concession contract with Serbia covering the airport’s financing, operation, maintenance, extension and upgrade of Belgrade airport. The concession took effect in December 2018.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla shares traded at 1,501 dinars per share by 1500 local time on the Belgrade stock exchange.
