December 29 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Belgrade bourse ended higher on Tuesday as total daily turnover rose, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended up 0.26% at 624.66 points after closing higher 0.26% on Monday.
The broader BELEXline index edged up 0.40% to 1,350.55 after rising 0.02% in the previous trading session.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna rose 1.28% in euro terms to 182.20 after losing 0.74% on Monday.
Total turnover increased to 31.1 million dinars ($280,000/256,000 euro) from 21.7 million dinars on Monday.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the day's largest turnover, of 20.2 million dinars, closing flat at 605 dinars.
Copper mill Valjaonica Bakra Sevojno [BEL:VBSE] led the session's gainers, rising 20% to 432 dinars with one share changing hands.
The preferred shares of tobacco company Philip Morris Operations [BEL:DINNPB] paced the session's decliners, losing 8.98% to 2,087 dinars with 125 shares changing hands. The company's ordinary shares were not traded.
